The majority of robot vacuum and mop combinations can be customised using a specialized application. You can save maps of your home as well as set up cleaning schedules and select mopping modes. The robot vacuum's maximum suction power is 6,000 pascals. This is the highest power of any vacuum we've tested to date. It also has PreciSense LiDAR Navigation, which tracks its position, which prevents it from becoming stuck on objects.
Mopping capabilities are also impressive and features the S8 Pro Ultra able to apply constant pressure of over 6 Newtons to the mop pad, resulting in a deep clean. It also comes with mop lifter technology that lifts the pad automatically as it transitions between tile and laminate, hardwood and carpet or rugs to avoid soaking soft surfaces.
The S8 Pro Ultra also has self-washing and self-drying capabilities. The pad can be washed and heat-dried within the dock, and the dust bin is automatically empty and returned to it. You can set it up and forget about it. You only need to replenish the water tank or replace the dust bag on occasion.
All of this is powered by a lithium-ion battery of 5,200mAh. The S8 Pro Ultra ran on its standard mop and vac-settings for about 160 minutes before it began to lose power and returned to its base to recharge. This isn't far off from the 180-minute time that Roborock claims and is at the same level with other hybrids I've tested.
This is a highly well-rounded and capable product, with the only downside being that it's expensive. But, the sheer number of features makes it a very appealing alternative for anyone who wishes to go away from their old stick vacuum and mop. We would highly recommend this vacuum for those who can afford its cost.
2. Dreametech L10S Ultra
The Dreametech L10S Ultra is a premium mop and robot vacuum. The high price is justified by the robust features, which include a massive vacuuming capacity and two mop heads that gyrate. It also has an app-based, smart controller and a mighty obstacle avoidance technology.
The L10S Ultra is one of the most expensive robotic vacuum and mop combos available at a recommended retail price of 999 euros. In my tests, it performed very well across the house. It was able to eliminate 98.4% debris on all types of floors and managed to lift long hair without getting caught up in. The mops also performed well, achieving great cleaning results with less effort than most mid-range models, due to their rotational motion and the powerful cleaning solution.
The docking station is the main selling aspect of the L10S Ultra. It's multifunctional and sophisticated. The dock emptys its dustbin into dirt bag, then refills its water tank to enable the mopping function and even dries its mop pads for you. It is equipped with a real-time danger detection system, and its sophisticated controls allow you to schedule regular cleaning sessions.
The L10S Ultra does not offer the best performance in removing carpet debris when compared to the other hybrid vacuum mop I tried. The mops in the L10S Ultra aren't as effective in removing tough stains as the Roborock S7 MaxV Ultra.
Despite the L10S Ultra's top-of-the-line features, it requires regular maintenance. To prevent mildew or unpleasant odors, the base station, dustbag, and water tanks must be cleaned regularly, emptied, and dried. The mop pads sold separately will require changing regularly.
I would recommend the L10S Ultra to anyone with the budget. If you're on a smaller budget, I suggest considering a more rudimentary model that will allow you to save money while still enjoying the convenience of hands-free cleaning at home. It's worth noting that even it's true that the L10S Ultra is the best mop and robotic vacuum you can find, its high purchase cost and maintenance costs will ultimately make it more of a want than a need.
3. Eufy S1 Pro
Eufy S1 Pro is the robot vacuum and mop you require to tidy up mess and remove dirt from your floors. This high-powered mop and robovac combo packs a strong suction power of 8,000 Pa, an impressively large battery that can be used for both vacuuming and mowing and top-quality obstacle avoidance. It has a roller-mop that cleans itself and makes it stand out from models that require you to return to the base station to wash off the mop pad.
The S1 Pro has a unique mopping mechanism that is distinct from the spinning discs and microfibre pads found in other robots. The roller is almost full width of the bot, and it is constantly dosed with clean, ozonated water from its dock. The roller scrubs the floor while soaking up dirt. Any dry debris is picked up with the side brushes or swept away into the front collision bumper. The S1 Pro then takes the mop water into its base station, which is then absorbed by the tank's heating elements before being dumped into a larger storage container. The tank onboard holds plenty of water, and can handle a half dozen mopping sessions before running dry.
Like most robotic vacuums and mop sets, the S1 Pro is ready to take it out from the box. The S1 Pro will need to be filled with clean water. This can be done using the cleaning dock. If you'd like to use your own cleaner, you can add cleaning solution to dock. If you choose this feature however, you'll need to buy the Eufy-branded cleaning solution that is more expensive than other robot brands allowing you to choose your preferred brand of cleaners.
The S1 Pro performed well in the navigation efficiency and coverage tests, just like the majority of robots. It was quick to map a space and moved around furniture. The only issue is that it was stuck a few times on carpets with longer piles and rugs during my tests however this could be rectified when the software is updated. The S1 Pro is a very robust robot that is available at an affordable price.
4. Roborock Qrevo
The Qrevo is Roborock's basic mop and vacuum. However, it still has some amazing features. The dock's multifunction emptying the robot's dirtbag and refilling its water tanks, and washing and sanitizing mop pads is done by the dock. The mopping system is able to sweep a large area before returning to its dock. The vacuum's suction power is ideal for removing pet hair and other debris from carpets.
The app that runs the appliance is dense, and offers many options to customize the cleaning process. You can set it up manually to start the full map and then clear everything that's been that is mapped by the device or you can select particular rooms, expandable zones, or even a schedule you've created. There are several mopping options that include SmartPlan -an algorithm that uses the mops' sensors to find the most efficient way to clean your home while it maps the space.
The Qrevo did well during our tests, just as all Roborock models we've tested. Its navigation system performs well, mapping rooms quickly and cleaning in an organized manner. The default pathing setting is excellent at covering a room, leaving no major gaps or missing areas. The Reactive Tech hazard avoidance system is quite reliable, too however it's not as advanced as the color camera system of the Qrevo Master or the S8 Pro Ultra. have a peek here can detect dangers such as thick carpets but may not be able recognize smaller items such as rug tassels and electrical wires.
The machine has a major flaw: it does not have a mop option after vacuuming. This could be a problem for people who vacuum frequently prior to using their robot.
